Spring State Meeting Notes:
This is merely a briefing of what was discussed and i will not go into great detail for obvious reasons.
Comms: Channel 2, freq are available. Some are public while others are private. Contact me for further details on that. One of the most talked about topics was to get a HAM license. Also the Baofeng which is cheap. It's around 40 bucks. Can't beat it. Amazon is a good place to look.
Unity of Texas: A lot was talked about on this subject. About 90% of the ones that attended are in this group (28th) already lol. 28th was brought up many times (by me too) as well as what Texas Militia North Texas is doing helping set up fire teams in many counties. I believe we have never been stronger as a state in the modern militia era. We are doing great but still have a ways to go.
Defense: I can't go over this very much for obvious reasons. I will say this. You don't want to fight the enemy head to head. We take the enemy out piece by piece aka guerrilla warfare. In a SHTF scenario break it down into 6 hour formats. If you miss one meeting point or BOL automatically go to the next one and wait for back up. Set up several different locations and meeting points.
Rendezvous locations: This is a tricky one to be honest. It was talked about to a certain degree but at this time nothing has been finalized. For now, County Commanders and/or CO's stay in contact. County Reps and individuals make contact to the closest group to you and set up small comms as well as rendezvous points.
Unit Mapping: To a great degree 28th State Militia has already done this. Though the groups are not listed and you won't find a list. This is broken down by county only and not individual units however i respect each unit as well.
MDC (Militia Defense Code): Green: MDC 5, frankly we probably won't see this in our life times, enough said lol. Blue: MDC 4, Guarded, also you probably won't see this. Yellow: MDC 3 Maintain your gear in a state of readiness. Check your exfil routes. Develop your own supply caches along your routes. Pre-stage supplies where appropriate. Keep your lines of communication open for incoming "flash" traffic. Orange: MDC 2 (our current level) Small Unit Leaders prepare to assist. Be ready to move on 2 hour notice. If possible, be prepared to pre-evacuate immediate family members and their personal gear. Maintain close contact with your immediate chain of command and team members. Red: MDC 1 SHTF Total Domestic Conflict; highest alert rating. 28th State Militia is fully activated. Evacuate by most expedient route possible, and assemble at designated rally points. Unit commanders will give further directions as needed.
OAS: It wasn't in the original planning however as i said at the meeting. At first i was very skeptical. I was pretty much against it when i first heard about it. However, as i've done my homework and time has passed to understand the situation i wish it well. Something has to give. We can't just stand by as the government takes over our lives. I've had many questions about this event over the last several months. Not everything is laid out however it doesn't need to be. There is no such thing as a perfect plan so forget it. I wish it well, i will be staying in Texas but they have my support. Some of our fellow Texans will be attending this event. 28th State Militia will be at Code Orange during this time and watching closely.
Conclusion: It was a very good meeting. Many meeting face to face for the first time. I wish even more would of shown up however we still had more than the one back in October. 40+ individuals came out. Mostly Reps for the individual units of Texas. Good food btw, for the ones didn't attend you missed out on a great meal. I have no doubt that the next one will be even bigger. I do want to point out, next time, please let one person at a time speak. We must have order when it comes to these things. I'm not 100% sure at this time when the next one will be. I was very proud to host the spring one. Thank you Thomas Maddux! Thank you for hearing me out my friends. If someone else wants to do the next one by all means do so. If not, then i will put together another one if you don't. These meetings are more important than some realize. We had a good little night time base camp check as well. I'll tell you this. 4 different groups, only 2 that have trained together, It went very well. Everyone knew what to do and we worked as a team. It was also pouring rain at that time that night. We Texans won't be stopped. Give the enemy nothing but take from them everything!
